Doug Halbert has extensive global operational experience in the rapidly changing product and services business environment working, at firms ranging in size from multi-billion-dollar public companies to private start-ups. He brings this experience along with an impressive record delivering high growth while restructuring environments with a specific focus on operations and logistics to The INSIGHT Group.

Prior to INSIGHT Doug has held senior global executive roles for Tech Data, Avnet, Hewlett Packard, Agilent Technologies, and Acterna. He was also Chief Operating Officer at WAGIC, Inc., Senior Vice President of Operations at Brilliant Telecommunications, and Executive Vice President of Global Operations and Symmetricom. Doug has an enviable track record as a Global executive having worked extensively with teams across Japan, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea and Western Europe. He was also a key member of the Executive Team that took Agilent Technologies public. In addition to his leadership roles, Doug has many operational accomplishments to his resume:

• • Led the development and implementation of Tech Data Services global delivery and project management office for services and solutions,
• • Managed businesses and partners in > twenty countries,
• • Reduced operational costs >$300M at Agilent

Doug is a leader in building and operating all aspects of best-in-class products and services delivery businesses achieving high levels of customer service, financial performance and quality.

Doug earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Trinity College. He completed graduate-level courses in Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Stanford University. He currently serves on the board of directors for Make-A-Wish Arizona.

At INSIGHT, Doug will be responsible for their Technology Product Lifecycle and Supply Chain Management Services & Support Practices.
