Bob applies broad human resources leadership expertise to help clients better align key HR strategies and processes with organizational values, goals, strategies and business functions.

Top clients included Avnet, IBM, Xerox, Lockheed Martin Aero, Time Warner, Advanced Technologies, BMC Software, EMC, MCI, Tech Data GLM, Town of Marana AZ, among others. Most recently, Bob was on special 3-year assignment as a Human Resources Business Development Consultant, with IBM’s Corporate HR Global Mergers and Acquisition Group. In this role, and a similar one in 2009-2010, he led key HR activities in closing over 12 complex global transactions through qualification, due diligence, negotiation, signing, transfer and successful integration of over 5,000 employees to new employers across 42 countries.

During a successful 32-year IBM career, Bob held many key positions. As the HR operations leader for IBM’s Asia South Pacific Area, located in Hong Kong, China, his international expert HR team helped improve leadership and staff morale across 17 countries, during times of major labor, political, economic and social change across Asia.

As IBM’s Global Services first HR executive, Bob and his HR team initiated new HR strategies, cultural change, and the initial Professional Development framework for the IBM Global Services Institute. The Institute was responsible for developing common services Professions, global customer valued skills and career growth paths. All were critical to the highly successful launch of IBM’s new professional services and solutions business.

Following his IBM career, Bob was the Vice President of the National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering (NACME) for three years. NACME is the nation’s largest private minority engineering scholarship fund, supported by the nation’s leading corporations, NASA, other government agencies and philanthropic organizations.

Bob was then appointed Vice President, Human and Financial Resources, at the Rockefeller Foundation. The RF works to improve the well-being of humanity around the world with data-driven programs focused on climate change, health, urbanization, agriculture for food security, transportation, infrastructure, and employment. Over six years, his team helped to enhance executive leadership skills and management practices, improve and align HR programs with the RF’s global mission, boost staff engagement and morale by over 30%, increase financial results, and improve organizational effectiveness of the Foundation’s offices in the U.S., Africa, Asia and Europe.

Bob received his B.S. in Business from The Ohio State University, and his MBA/HRM from Nova Southeastern University. Bob served as a Purchasing Officer in the U.S.A.F.
